Thawing the Frozen
So the story ends write where it starts
Two souls once never severed,
Together in Love.
Separated by forgetting.
Love entered softly
as it usually would.
No one yanked it
Can’t force it
But it’s often misunderstood.
And once where the heart held pain like a dagger,
the dagger tapered -
into petals
into buds
into leaves
into vines
Vines that guided
calmed
and tended those in need.
Two hearts
Neither thought whole
Remembered what was lost.
Lost like a sweet dream,
Infinity in an instant.
Vanished like the tide.
Full moon,
Half moon,
New moon.
Silence
Speculative silence
Silence that slices
Silence that stings.
Like frozen fingertips slowly warmed by the fire.
Love entered-
such a light.
Such a power
Burned
Melted
Warmed
Saved
-Frozen fingers nearly taken by the frost.
But how change can hurt.
Saving, healing,
isn’t always pleasant.
To clear the space-
Alchemy is present.
Yin Yang
Flip flop
Balance
Two hearts once whole
Severed by time.
Separation left us cold
Amnesia made us blind.
In separation may we find.
What we vowed we’d never forget.
Love.
Wholeness.
Peace.
-is within.
The path is in our heart.
We are not alone, not severed.
Your heart Remembers.
